It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Kyo Hoon Chung, a beloved member of Redwood Park Golf Club since 1995.

Mr. Chung was one of the original Korean members of the club and played an integral role in fostering a sense of community with the club and the club's Korean members.

Throughout his many years at Redwood Park Golf Club, Mr. Chung had a wealth of wonderful memories. He worked as a translator for the Korean members and the golf committee, and was an active participant and supporter of the club's pennant activities.

He also celebrated the successes of the Nobilo teams and the Montana teams of 2002-2003. Mr. Chung was known for his passion for golf, his friendly demeanor, and his unwavering dedication to the club.

Sadly, Mr. Chung passed away on the 18th of March after battling cancer. He had returned to his home country of South Korea for treatment and to spend time with his family. Despite his declining health, Mr. Chung continued to play golf until his condition worsened, often coming out for 9 holes on his own or sometimes with his wife. He always remained grateful to the club for its support throughout his personal and golfing development.

Mr. Chung's funeral was held in Korea, and his wife was in tears when she heard that the club had observed a moment of silence in honor of her husband.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Mr. Chung's family and friends during this difficult time, and we thank everyone who has sent their condolences.

Redwood Park Golf Club has lost a cherished member, and we will always remember Mr. Chung's contributions to the club and his legacy of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and friendship.

Rest In Peace, father.
